| Constant
motion is the essence of all life. But like the seemingly effortless
grace of a perfect waltz, all motion is full of complexity. Mastering
the right steps, forming a team, changing paces, being part of the flow
on the dance floor: Even the slightest irritation can slow down the dancers
and lead to a loss of balance.
Like
great dancers successful organizations and corporations are in constant
motion. Only the right balance between competence and performance of all
of their parts and the changing demands of their environment allows them
to keep moving. To achieve this, organizations need a fully developed
sense of themselves and of the ground on which they move: Only through
this awareness are they able to constantly adapt to exterior demands.
